Automated Underwriting via the Internet - A real approval! Not a pre-qualification or a pre-approval. A real solid underwritten cashable approval.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the organizations that set the guidelines for all conventional loans. All lenders follow these guidelines. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have created automated underwriting web sites. Utilizing the Internet they have direct communication with our mortgage software. The web site is programmed to receive the borrowers information from our mortgage software and the borrowers credit report from the credit bureaus. Once this information is received the web site then compares the application against a set of underwriting guidelines and requirements. If the application meets the underwriting guidelines its is approved. If the site approves the loan and the borrowers documentation matches the application the lender must accept the loan. No questions asked.

This system reduces paperwork by upto 75% and will save the borrower 125 to 300 dollars on the appraisal.
